Andover is a great place to live, and a great place to raise a family. And that’s no accident.  Countless individuals around town are brimming with Andover pride, and actively contributing to our town’s quality of life.

So it’s no surprise that a privately sponsored warrant article tied to a proposed development has generated so much involvement. On May 2, proponents of warrant articles 57 and 58 – which create a new ID3 zone industrial mixed use district on Dascomb Road with a residential component – withdrew the articles so that the proposed re-zoning can be properly reviewed leading up to a special Town Meeting vote in the fall. 

Given the importance of that vote, a couple of Andover residents created thedascombrdproject.org as a way for all interested parties to access key information on the warrant articles and proposed project, including the issues that are being actively discussed:
