The Andover School Committee during the meeting on 4/13/2017 indicated a strong preference for this project and the additional tax revenues provide.
Several members spoke about the project and the benefits to the community and the schools and although there is no official endorsement of the project yet, it seemed like that was going to be coming in the future.
The developer and Dr. Berman had an exchange where Dr. Berman suggested that it would be a good idea to have opportunities for those less fortunate including special needs and handicapped individuals and the developer indicated that would be a good idea to implement and that he promised to do so.
