Future Tenants

Future tenants is a topic of concern.  The town of Andover has a set of zoning laws which restrict the size of a retail location to 25,000 sq. ft. and buildings in Andover cannot be over 40 feet in height (4 stories).

The only exception to this is for a Super Market (grocery store).

Therefore this site will not be home to Target or Home Depot or anything of that nature.

The developer has indicated that the hotel on premises may be a Marriott brand.

The developer has indicated interest from several of the higher end brands such as Legal Seafood, Capital Grille.  The developer has indicated he will own/operate a couple of the restaurants.

There are no known commitments from any future tenants and this time.

Points of Interest:

This does not prevent developers from building these big box types of stores in Tewksbury.

Questions:

Will there be any restrictions on the types of retail operations that will be in this development?  Will the developer allow lower end retail outlets?

Are any current Andover residents and business owners going to be tenants?
